Vicki Cutler – Director and Health, Safety & Compliance Consultant

Vicki is a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, Member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers and Member of the Chartered Management Institute; as well as the NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Safety & Health Practice, General NEBOSH Certificate and the NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate, Vicki also holds a Diploma in Management Studies and an NVQ Level 4 in Advice and Guidance. She is also a professional trainer, a qualified NVQ assessor and verifier in a range of subjects and holds the PTLLS and CTLLS qualifications.
After moving into a role incorporating health and safety within the Education sector back in 2001, Vicki progressed her role and moved into the social housing sector a couple of years later. She established her own consultancy in 2008, Grange Safety Solutions Ltd, and has worked with many social landlords across the UK; she has been on the Management Committee of a local housing association for the past three years.
Vicki specialises in health, safety and compliance within the social housing sector; she is an Associate of the Housing Quality Network and was, for over ten years, the Lead Associate for SAFETYnet, the Excellence in Housing Health & Safety Network.
She has a wealth of knowledge in the sector and was awarded her Chartered Fellowship based on the contribution made to the sector over the years; at the time she was one of only around 40 women worldwide to be awarded the prestigious title.
Undertaking compliance audits of the main subject areas of gas, fire, asbestos, water hygiene, electrical and lifts for many social landlords has been one of her key roles over the last ten or so years, as well as supporting the development of social housing events and training. She understands the key issues that are specific to the sector; working with fellow professionals her aim is to make a difference and improve safety and compliance in the sector across the UK.
